Lenovo ThinkStation P20 WorkStation Provides Predator Cycling with 64 Cores of Flexibility

We’ve recently aligned with Lenovo Workstations to elevate our hardware capacities to leverage the professional GPU power of the NVIDIA RTX A6000.

We had the pleasure of teaming up with Lenovo, the powerhouse behind the hardware used by us in accelerating the design, simulation, and release of our RF20 road frame. Our customer story highlights how we here at Predator use new technologies to ensure our business thrives during the pandemic and tough economical challenges.

We were lucky enough to acquire the new Lenovo Thinkstation P620, the only workstation with AMD Threadripper Pro- 3995WX Processor, 64 Cores, 128 Threads in October of 2020. This powerful workstation, paired with the Nvidia RTXA6000 GPU, essentially catapulted our design workflow into speeds we’ve never experienced before…and believe us, we’re familiar with speed over here at Predator! This new system directly effected our once-lengthy prototype timelines and custom product launches.

The seamless integration and acceleration of the workstation and GPU allowed our designers and technicians to multitask as a team throughout the process from concept in Autodesk Fusion 360 to real time simulation in Ansys Discovery to physical manufacturing here in our shop.

Warming up for track-sprint competitions is a highly-specific and focused process. We typically don't get track time on the day of comNow This is an Ergo!petition during international events, i.e., world cups and world championships. The Predator ErgoBike is THE critical piece of equipment that allows us to maximize athlete activation before competition. Our team will not travel without it!Additionally, our fleet of Predator ErgoBikes allows us to structure our sprint-specific training in productive and cost-effective ways. The ergometer gives us a variety of workouts that are similar to the track, thus providing us a means of reducing track-time costs and wear and tear on equipment. I cannot recommend this ergometer enough! It's a game changer!

I came to Aram 6 weeks before the 2016 Olympics looking for some highly specific, custom equipment to fit the precise demands of my events in Rio. Through a combination of reinforcing pre-existing bars, wrapping in a stem and manufacturing completely new drops he came up with one of the most incredible handlebars I've ever seen. They are a show-stopper everywhere they go. See for yourself. This guy can make anything happen.

I have to admit that the Major’s are the best handlebars that I have ever got my hands on. They are really stiff which makes it easier to sprint and go through corners at a really high speed. Not only are they stiff but they are some of the coolest looking bars out. My Major’s are stiff, good looking, and fast just how I like it.
